Stopping the Messenger Service

are u the kind of person that dosent like popups to bother u while u are doing serious business(:P) on teh system
to get rid of that all u have to do is follow the following steps and then u will have a popup free life- Click Start->Settings ->Control Panel
- Click Performance and Maintenance
- Click Administrative Tools
- Double click Services
- Scroll down and highlight "Messenger"
- Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties
- Click the STOP button
- Select Disable or Manual in the Startup Type scroll bar Click OK
